The Origin

25 Years in the Making

It all began on tennis courts, where a love for cricket found its first home. With a few improvised rules — like penalizing sixes over the high fence and eliminating backside runs — we adapted the game to fit the space without compromising on passion.

As more friends joined in, those courts couldn't hold us. We moved to nearby baseball fields, evolved our game, and started playing friendly matches against other teams who shared the same enthusiasm.

In the early years, cricket in the Atlanta area was limited to a handful of short knockout tournaments a year. That changed in 2007 with the launch of the Atlanta Cricket League — our first real competitive home. Within a year, our growing roster led to a second team under the Monsters Cricket Club banner.

What followed were years of growth, competition, and championships. But beyond the trophies, what defines Monsters CC is something far greater — the brotherhood built over 25 years, the camaraderie that keeps pulling the same group of people back to the crease, and the lifelong friendships that are the real heart of the story.

And then a question surfaced: if managing one club manually had become this complex, imagine how a league admin feels running 20 clubs, 40 fixtures, and 300 players on spreadsheets. That question became a product.
